Maybe they would have worked better if I had bought the instrument Revain was trying to sell me with them. I doubt it. I used a 110V soldering iron that I had never used before. The amperage was compatible but I couldn't achieve what I would call "welding"! I ended up with what looked like a lifetime self employed electric welder (compare results to "welding") who found an electric welder and used a 7018 AC rod to weld an aluminum bracket to stainless steel!
