Review on πŸ“± Enhance Your Google Nest Hub Max Experience: Official Made for Google Wasserstein Adjustable Stand - Perfect Companion in Chalk by Justin Live

Good Fit, Poor Stability

This stand was a good idea, but only executed. The base of the Google Hub Max is secure and swivels and tilts easily, but that's where the compliments end. The stand does not offer sufficient resistance to movement. I was hoping for a nice solid stand that I could rotate on purpose if I wanted to but would otherwise stay in place. I have one that wobbles when I use the touchscreen and is too easy to tilt and rotate. I think the tilt function also needs detents or at least a level detent. It's impossible to align it just by touching it, and it's all too easy to accidentally tilt it while rotating. To his credit, he stays where I leave him. But it's just not strong enough in the joint. For this reason, I will probably only wear them for longer video calls and when traveling, but will not take them off the rest of the time. The base needs more rubber padding, as does the hub itself. Wiring only makes sense if your hub is near an outlet. If you have very little cable slack, a cable management system is useless. Overall I wouldn't buy it again.

Pros
  • βœ” SMART DESIGN - Easily adjust your viewing angle with the 360 degree swivel and 25 degree tilt stand. The open design around the speaker does not affect the sound quality.
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
