Speed issues at 100 feet

I had problems with 1G internet, which usually reached 700 Mbps. With this cable straight from the modem to my laptop, about 100 Mbit/s was the maximum possible. Either there's something wrong with it, or it's not cat7 (because part of the spec says cat5e/cat6). I replaced it with another cable and immediately started dialing 800Mbps via Modem &gt; Fortigate &gt; Switch &gt; Amplified Aliens &gt; Phone.
