the most amazing Intel processor yet!

Just ordered a second 9400 after trying the first one. I can compare it to my last cpu which was i5 3570k for socket 1155. This model fits socket 1151. It has 6 cores instead of 4 like the older model. It is designed to operate at frequencies from 2.9 to 4.1 GHz, while the old one was more blocked at 3.4. It consumes 65W instead of 90W like the old and current high power model. In fact, this processor typically runs at around 0.8 GHz and generates almost no heat. As long as it is not busy, the fan remains silent. It kicks into high gear immediately and then puts out 65 watts and moderate heat. It's much, much faster than the 1155 socket model, and the integrated graphics are very impressive. For gaming it might be better to go with an AMD processor, but for general use with some gaming and image processing this is much better. with Vin Chopin. There is no room inside the case for fans other than the processor fan that ships with the processor. When I built a large tower for high-performance use, I chose the same processor. I put a large air cooler on top of the CPU instead of the tiny heatsink/fan to allow the CPU to run at full speed indefinitely. I believe builds using this low power processor will last a very long time. The motherboard is unlikely to crack or warp, and the components won't heat up and cool down frequently. And from what I've seen in the first few months, this chip is fast enough to do almost anything, no matter how heavy the CPU is. It should be in a large case with multiple fans if you use it often. Many games and video editing require a fairly good graphics card. It will serve with integrated GPU for casual use at full speed.
