I tried a few other HDMI component converters (Musou, GANA) for an old Toshiba 1080p rear projection TV and they were cheap, plastic, light weight, with a cheap power supply and poor quality. They worked, but the image was distorted at the top of the screen and blue shadows appeared on the image on the 1080p HD setting. I bought an Easycel and as soon as I opened the box I saw a huge difference in build quality. It is made of aluminium, is lightweight, has a very good fit and finish, high-quality connectors and buttons. Even the charger is of much better quality than the other two I've tried. It connects very easily like the others, but the image quality of this device is the same day and night compared to the other two. I have perfect 1080p reception without the distortion, smudges or blue shadows of the cheaper devices I've tried. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $8-$10 and buy this device instead of others, you won't regret it. You also get component cables and an HDMI cable (which isn't included) so it doesn't really get that expensive when you factor in the cost of the cables, especially if you need them. Works well with Roku+ Streaming Stick, smooth streaming, great picture, full HD, no problem.
