I went online to see how people use this sprayer and it looked very easy. I tried it at home and my first spray was a complete disaster - I couldn't find the sweet spot between underspray and overspray. With more practice I got much better results and ended up loving this product as it works much faster than brushes or rollers. A few takeaways from my experience: (a) Buy a part to test the viscosity of your paint. This is the main disadvantage of this atomizer - it does not atomize very thick material very well. Once you've diluted the paint to the correct viscosity (I've even increased it by 50% over the recommended range) spraying becomes much easier. the spray gun is stuck - check with both hands for a tight fit - this caused me problems at the beginning (c) letting the paint rest. That was the biggest aha for me - if you spray something, the result might look uneven (a bit like an orange peel), but the color will be more even once it dries. (d) You hear everywhere to protect the environment and wear a mask. . I highly recommend this. I actually bought the tent as I needed to finish some interior cabinets.
