Changed to "May cause liver problems in 18 year old cockatiels "

Also please read the update below. Diet. Recently, his eyesight has become poor, his eyes have become sensitive to light, and unfortunately, despite the fact that he has been flying all his life, he has not been able to reach all his favorite heights in the house. After a visit to the vet I was offered to add this talker to his seed. I sprinkled its seeds with a teaspoon every day. It didn't seem to bother him much and over the past month I've noticed that he can fly better and doesn't miss the highs that much. The light sensitivity is not much better. Overall he looks happier and stronger and I'm glad I was able to smoothly transition him to this puree as he tends to get upset about a diet change. He never took the pellets I tried for him. According to the label, everything is organic and good for him, and I'm happy with that. Additional update 06/05/15 - I used to give this pap to an old man now and then we had a new baby. Corella. The breeder warned me that there had been reports of this puree (or pellet) causing liver problems in cockatiels. It was hard sharing the diet of two birds because the baby got into everything! I noticed feathering and a bald spot on the older bird's neck. When he called the vet he mentioned that it could be in birds with liver problems (among other things) so I stopped giving the seasoning. It's too early to tell if the feather/bald spot is gone. We'll let you know in a few weeks. Hope this helps someone.
