I'd rather have a buckle that folds down to adjust the length after you insert the belt. It has 2 small tabs at the top and bottom that you can slide to adjust the length. I've found that I have to use a lot of hand force to keep the belt from slipping and a lot of effort to undo the tabs after you've made them so they don't slip. If you don't press the slider, the belt will loosen and not hold the pants. The worst thing is when you go shopping and your pants fall off in front of the crowd. I'm sure you'll laugh when you see the results, but you won't find it funny. Where is the folding clasp that I have from another manufacturer. Easy to close and open, non-slip and hold your pants. Otherwise the material of the straps looks good, should hold up well and be easy to trim to adjust the length.
