It still starts, just runs at full speed, then stops, picks up full speed again and stops again. Not sure what happened. I didn't drop it, I vacuumed it after each use, filtered and everything, didn't pour water on it, unplugged it after each use, etc. (I was fine with that). I use it at home for myself so it wasn't abuse. I've had it for a while but must have done my nails a few times since then. I've tried different outputs, I've tried different speeds, I can't debug anything else. It looks like there is a short somewhere and I can't think of a way to fix it. If you are unsure whether or not to get a dust bag and want to try this because of the price range I would recommend getting a good one, even if it's a bit more expensive the dust bag is life changing. I assure you, you will like it even if you get a manicure every 2 months.
