Smells good from the start; It says "almond, mint, lemongrass" but for some reason I like the smell of sweet almonds the most, and it actually smells like biscotti. For the first impression definitely collected a few points. After that, things got a little more mixed up in how I felt about it. First, it's a paste (which I obviously realized when ordering), but I probably didn't think about how inconvenient it would be to tap it with your fingers and apply it to your armpits compared to a regular deodorant stick. It's not the worst thing in the world, but it hurts, mostly because unless you're an acrobat you have to use the other hand for each armpit and then wash your hands. Second, and this is more of an issue for me, although it smells nice to begin with, I live in a warm climate and it doesn't offer the protection I need. I've only been wearing it since October, when the warmest weather is far behind and daily highs average 75-80 (with the occasional 85-degree days). Even in these moderately warm temperatures, I was sweating profusely and BO. The smell of cookies is not so pleasant when mixed with BO. As such, I admire the brand for making something that is undoubtedly more beneficial to the body than traditional aluminum-based deodorants, but my quest for a natural deodorant that truly replaces traditional deodorants continues.
