Review on Bridgestone Turanza T001 205/60 R16 92V summer by Ada Jankowska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I would definitely recommend the purchase, I don't think there is anything wrong with it.

Ford Mondeo car. I recently took a replacement Potenza (they stood from the factory, departed 5 seasons without problems) 235/45 R17 in the same size (I must say that visually the profile seems to be larger in Turanza and the sidewall is somehow barrel-shaped, in general, the tire is not handsome :-)). Compared to potency: - Reactions to the steering wheel are not so sharp and clear. If the potenza rides like it's on rails, then the turanza feels more like Velcro. + They write noise, but you apparently didn’t drive a potenza: 120 km / h on a Turanza is quieter than 60 on a potenza. Although the winter Velcro VRX is still quieter, of course. + Comfort. Joints and pits are passed softer, the track is felt much less pronounced, and this is with a profile of 45. I had to hold the steering wheel tightly on the potenza so as not to vomit) * Softer rubber and sidewall. On the one hand, greater comfort, better behavior at low temperatures, on the other hand, time will tell how this will affect reliability and wear resistance. There was an oak potenza, at +10 in the rain it was already slipping at the start. In general, if you make a choice between Potenza and Turanza and you need reference handling and reliability, and you are ready to overpay 1.5 - 2 thousand per cylinder, then your choice is Potenza. In other cases, Turanza is a reasonable compromise between handling and comfort.

Pros
  • Comfortable tires for city and highway.
Cons
  • Haven't revealed yet.
