This stripper will work on bathtubs but you will need to leave it on for a few hours and cover (to keep it wet). The hard work begins. You have to rub vigorously to peel off the old coating. You need to sand it down and prepare the finish for "re-enameling". This is not a quick or easy task. But it works.
