This item does what it is supposed to do but I have a few comments. I have to say we also have a great RugBuddy heater for our favorite couch rug. I bought this for my office rug and chose the Woo Warmer simply because it was the only product that was the perfect size for our 6x6 office rug. Most of my reservations relate to the controller, which sits in the corner of the mat. First, as you can see in the pictures, it raises the corner of the mat a bit. My personal preference would be to just have a thin string that I could use to decide how I want to nourish the rug. I just want to hook up the carpet to a separate programmable thermostat and keep our office at a constant temperature during business hours. The Woo Warmer controller will shut down after 6 hours of use so this is not an option. Every time I get to the office I have to go under my desk and turn the switch off and on again and then wait for the floor/room to get too warm. Some people like this power saving option if they only use it sporadically, but I'd rather just put it on the thermostat. The Woo Warmer control unit can turn on the entire carpet or half the carpet. This can be an interesting option in some use cases where you might have half a rug under your table and only want to heat the area by your feet. However, I suspect that most people will probably just feed the whole carpet. Another issue is that the website says it's great for offices but doesn't mention that you shouldn't use caster office chairs on the Woo Warmer! I'll do it anyway and hope for the best, but it would be nice if the product listing mentioned some of the limitations of use given in the instructions that come with the product. However I am still happy with the product as I now have a carpet warmer that fits perfectly under the carpet in my office next to my desk and my feet no longer get cold I just have to restart the Woo Warmer every time. I go to the office that annoys me the most.
