Bought for the feeling of comfort, not a fake heart rate sensor, and paid too much for it - convenience is a plus. The first device I received was inaccurate and inconsistent. It turned out to be paired with a cadence sensor, in other cases the heart rate suddenly dropped to half of what it should be. I tried turning on the sensor after starting a ride for better pairing, but that didn't always work. I tried different spots on the arm but couldn't find a single spot where the readings were the same. I checked the readings with the Apple Watch and the Polar chest strap. Bad product. After this not so good experience I called Revain to return the device but decided to accept a replacement and give the xoss hrm headband another chance. The exchange worked immediately as expected without any problems. Obviously the first device was defective. I've been using the replacement for a few weeks now - readings match my Apple Watch, connects quickly to the xoss bike computer and stays connected. Very satisfied with the product. Rating upgraded to 5 stars for functionality and customer service.
