Used it the first day I showed up . I wanted something to glue the corner joints together. Larger clamps were difficult to use because of their size and weight; especially with thinner castings. This tool also allows you to tighten the joint for a snug fit, rather than just holding it in place like some clamps. Also, aligning the beveled parts works very well to ensure the build is square. You just go around and loosen and tighten the 4 nuts on the corners to pull in the direction you want. At first I thought the price of $29.99 was a bit steep, but when you add up the cost of all the parts in the kit, that's really not the case. I actually used it to trim some of the windows I trimmed. In general, make a large picture frame and then nail it to the wall around the window - it worked great. The only thing I think 4 more pieces of threaded rod should be 12 inches long. It comes with 8 lengths of 24 inches, but sometimes you need a little over 24 inches but nowhere near 48 inches. (if you connect 2-24" rods to the coupler). I just bought a 1/4" threaded rod (cheap - a few bucks) and cut 4-12" rods to use in this situation.
