I appreciate the simplicity of both the hardware and software, and backing up private keys to a microSD card (instead of the passwords used by other popular hardware wallets), so I'm offering a 5/5 star rating. Set up with a) heat-sealable, airtight packaging and b) the wallet app, which automatically looks for a manufacturer signature on the device's firmware, gave me peace of mind that the device had not been compromised upon delivery or prior to my use . . The minimalist wallet is easy to navigate and intuitive, which is why Digital Bitbox is a hardware wallet that I am happy to recommend to others, including new users. Additionally, the technology team at Shift Devices (the company that designs and manufactures Digital Bitbox) is world class.
