Why have I waited? in Kitchen & Dining

I inherited a kegerator with the house we bought a few years ago. He had a faucet and I have learned enough about him to replace the pipes, faucet and faucet; and then keep them clean and disinfected. I wish when I did all this about 18 months ago I would convert the one touch tower to a two touch tower like this. The tower looks clean, shiny and well polished. The faucets are good and I like that they come with springs. The keg tool for installing/removing the faucet and various jerks in the system is fine, but I encountered slippage when tightening the first faucet (I switched to mine and it worked much better). Installation was easy, but I replaced the pre-installed faucet. 5ft beverage lines installed with 8ft lines (enhanced foam control). I read in a review that the turret cover was difficult to remove. This was not my experience. It's securely attached, but not difficult at all to remove (good for servicing/replacing the line behind faucets). Inside the tower is a tube with neoprene(?) insulation and a foam disc under the top cover. I did not use the included nuts and bolts to mount the tower. In my case it was better to use screws as the top of the kegerator is a few inches above the area to be cooled and is all leather covered plywood. faucet and 2-tap regulator coming soon for my second keg). When I poured my first beer (Spotted Cow by New Glarus Brewing Co.) it was an enjoyable experience with no leaks. Good flow control when pouring and amazing pouring. One test is never enough, so I ran a series of tests like any decent beer drinker would. Good consistency with every pour. I love my kegerator again and would love to do a double tower sooner. I can fit two 1/6 barrel barrels or one 1/6 barrel and one skinny 1/4 barrel. I was so happy with the double tower that I went ahead and tweaked the taplist. io and bought a Plaato drum scale. I have to stop now before anyone asks how much I spent even though it's worth it to me.
