These work great. They are not lint removers but lint catchers. We have dogs and guinea pigs. When i wash their blankets or things with fur on them the inside of the washer would always be covered in fur afterwards and I'd have to wipe it out before my next load of laundry. What these do is catch the lint that comes off and floats around in the water. It keeps it from getting stuck back on your clothes or stuck to the side of the drum during the spin cycle which can also clog up drain hose. They work best if you don't overload your washer. So I always do a medium load of clothes and put the washer on the largest setting so there is enough water and space for the float to move around freely and pick up the lint floating in the water. Again, these don't physically remove the lint from your clothes, they just grab the lint that comes off in the wash, but they are well worth it.
