had realistic expectations for a $30 shoe rack. It is made from light wood and comes with 12 screws and an Allen key for assembly. The holes are already drilled and as long as you tighten them just enough to be strong and not overdo it the wood and holes will work perfectly. I have no doubt some of them have cracks but I can't imagine anyone having trouble putting them together. You don't even need a simple tutorial drawing. There are 5 pieces of wood with holes in them. This isn't rocket science. Reading some of the reviews on here, it's clear that people either put the right side on the left or flipped a bit during installation and then blamed the product when something didn't work. If you want a lightweight, easy to assemble rack for a pair of shoes instead of a stack of bricks or whatever, then this rack will more than do. It fits perfectly into my New York closet and doesn't interfere with the coat hanging over it. I have 3 pairs of large men's boots above and a collection of sneakers and trainers below. No fuss, no fuss.
