Review on Epica Strongest Heavy Duty Shower Curtain by Sandra Edwards

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Thought it was a good product but now it's not that much

This deserves five stars just because I haven't used it long enough to see how it handles mold. It's very humid here and none of them are fully effective, nor do I expect them to be. This curtain is flexible and has good grommets. No smell that I can detect. I'm deducting two stars and revising my rating after I've had time to gain experience. It's really heavy, but I also found it brittle. Where it accidentally bent at the bottom and created a stress point, it burst open. More importantly, I find that it is inferior to other curtains in terms of mold growth. A month later, mold appeared on it. My previous curtain, which was so similar in description as to suggest they were from the same source, was much, much better and had no breakage problem. That doesn't mean they didn't come from the same source and some material changes messed them both up, but the comparison was impressive. I'm in South Texas, this could be a testing ground for mold resistance, but the old curtain was much better.
