Too weak - hair brushes

the edging brush is good but the detangling brush is too weak to work well. It doesn't get through all my hair and I don't have a lot of hair - I bought this for my daughter who has tons of curly hair and it definitely doesn't suit her. It stretches too much and then relaxes quickly, so it's not at all painless for her.
