I have used many of these strip connectors on various projects and have always had mixed results. On some rare occasions, small stripping lengths, simple stuff, I get a great connection right away with no issues. Most of the time I have to do a lot of connection troubleshooting because not all my colors are working or the connection is intermittent/weak. Unfortunately, the latter applies to these connections. I would really like to know what exactly is the reason for such a poor contact that seems to break at the slightest movement when the contacts on the connectors match my strips perfectly and the strips themselves are in perfect condition. If it wasn't a big deal to solder the 5 wires together on each strip I would stop using them all together because I'm not sure they will hold the connection over time. They snap and seem solid, but when I plug the strips in, I find that 70% of my strips don't work because some or all of the connectors aren't making full contact.
