Review on 🦷 Silver Biotics Tooth Gel - Naturally Enhances Oral Health - SilverSol Infused - Triple Action Glacial Mint with Xylitol and Peppermint Oil - 4 oz. by Josh Montgomery

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Almost entirely natural

This company deserves high marks for making a very comfortable fluoride-free tooth gel. It seems to be the best product out there so I'm adding a star to my rating. Because it's a gel instead of toothpaste, you don't get that thick paste effect. It doesn't leave plaque on teeth, which is why some people say their teeth don't appear clean. But this "fresh flair" coating is actually unhealthy and prevents permanent remineralization of the teeth. The product seems slightly watery or melts quickly, but I've used a gel before (like Aim) and knew what to expect. MAKE SURE you apply this quickly to both sides of your mouth before you start brushing your teeth. I've been using Silversol for over a year now. Over time, I've found that despite the mild taste, it really kills germs. I brush the entire interior of my mouth, not just my teeth. And it really kills that awful morning dragon breath so I'm sure it's working now. Tube ingredients: SilverSol solution (deionized water and purified silver), xylitol, carbomer, TEA, natural color and peppermint oil. (No Aloe Vera like someone else suggested) Positive ----------- No Fluoride (HORRA!) No Stevia I hate No Parabens No Sodium Lauryl Sulfate No Artificial Colors Non-abrasive SilverSol solution contains Xylitol ( which does not harm teeth) Mild Ice Mint (Peppermint Oil) Flavor BPA Free Tube Negative -------------CarbomerTEA (Triethanolamine) Natural Color Actually Clear) Relatively Expensive Size 4 fl. an ounce for about 10 US dollars and you have to use a little more than you expect so the cost seems pretty steep. But there are so few fluoride-free alternatives on the market that I've decided it's either this product, Activz Silver Toothgel (with the same ingredients and even a higher price!) or homemade toothpaste (see my recipe below in the comments) . If you don't want to invent your own expensive toothpaste with coconut oil and other ingredients, this is by far the best choice!

Pros
  • Free from BPA, Triclosan, glycerin, fluoride, parabens and sodium lauryl sulfates
Cons
  • So far so good
