Review on Van Heusen Stretch 35 Sleeve by Jeff Islam

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Shocked at the poor quality of the material

I have bought many Van Heusen shirts over the last two decades and have kept buying them because in my experience they have lasted the longest and the patterns were just starting to wear out. after more than 10 years of use. I had this shirt (blue pattern with Regatta print) and I immediately noticed that the worn cuffs were compressed for packing, the pattern already looked worn before I put it on. But overall the shirt looked great and I wanted it to be just an anomaly that was less noticeable. Now, after only six washes on delicate fabrics, tumble dry for 20 minutes max on low heat and then hang to dry, the faded/worn lines along the cuffs are becoming more and more visible, and yesterday I noticed the dot collars are quickly disappearing. The end result is that the shirt is actually worn out and can no longer be worn to work after a month and a half. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but since I can't find a way to contact the company right now, this is my only option. I'll be happy to update this review if anyone from Van Heusen contacts me.
