I was pleasantly surprised with this case. My iPad 12.9 1st gen finally ran out so I had to buy the latest 4th gen and a new keyboard case. Over the years I've had my fair share of keyboard cases to compare to this one. My true rating is 4.5 stars but it deserves 5 and not 4 stars as there is no such thing as 1/2 stars. On the plus side, it fits the 4th gen iPad 12.9 perfectly. If someone says it doesn't fit, they have a different iPad model. There's no way it won't fit. This is a semi-rigid case that wraps around the iPad on all sides and minimally on the front with a rounded tread of about 1mm without obstructing the screen. I'm not afraid of the iPad falling out, it's secure. I like the keyboard's magnetic fit. It offers the iPad viewing angle of your choice depending on where you place the keyboard. If your iPad seems too vertical, just take the keyboard out of the magnetic case and adjust it to your liking. The backlit keyboard is awesome. I can type on my iPad while watching TV in a dark room. Not only is it highlighted, I can also change the color. That's cool. Bluetooth was an easy setup. The quality of the case itself is 5 points. That's enough for years of travel and daily movement to different rooms in the house and for significant usage. The color is true rose gold, while the Revain image looks more pink, like cotton candy. The 1/2 star downgrade (from 5 stars to 4.5 stars) is due to the following: The groove to hold the iPad on the keyboard could be deeper. It's fine when I'm sitting still, but if I need to readjust when the iPad is on my lap, the iPad usually pops out of the groove. The battery life is only about 3 days before the light flashes to charge. My last keyboard lasted at least a month or more before needing a charge, but no backlight. I wish the keyboard had a combination of both; Traditional PC Alt+Tab to switch between open apps/windows and screen capture.
