Review on 🔧 Enhanced Mounting Solution – Definitive Technology VEPC Pro-Mount 90 (Black) – Pair by Rushabh Bear

I bought these to wall mount two Klipsch surround speakers that weigh just over 8 pounds each. The screw that connected to the speakers was fine, but I didn't like the screw that was included to connect the two halves of the mechanism together to clamp the ball (thus locking the speaker in place keep). This screw had a head that required an Allen wrench to turn. Not only was it impractical, but there was limited space between the speaker and the wall when you tightened it, making it difficult to get enough leverage with the included wrench to tighten it enough to place the speaker in the wall to hold the desired position. I replaced this bolt with a stainless steel hex bolt and locknut from a hardware store and was then able to easily tighten it with a hex socket wrench. The problem is solved. I recommend these (haven't moved in a few months) assuming you're buying knowing you'll spend a few bucks more to replace the screws.
