I was disappointed when I felt how much lighter they are compared to the ones they replaced but they look good and now with use I understand that I like them more . This is a more graceful shape that is easier to hold on to; Also, they carry less weight on the ceiling fan and lighting kit, and I'm far less likely to blow my brains out when I turn off the light and not see the chain link swing back to hit me in the head; now it will be just a light squeeze!
