"Alkaline Brew Detergent dissolves quickly in hot or cold water and works in all water conditions. Removes labels from bottles in minutes!” This statement is not entirely correct. I've used it on my toilet with a 14 gpm spray ball at ambient temperature. It took a few minutes to dissolve. Worked CIP for over half an hour and it had almost no effect on cleaning. Then I heated it to 170F. It was a world of difference. Does not clean chemicals, but heat. Same goes for PBW, but they make no cold water claims. With that in mind I find it works just as well as PBW and yes less skin irritation but like all brewers I wear gloves when using chemicals. Aside from the stupid cold water claim (which should be removed) I'm rating it 4 stars.
