I bought this to help my mom with shin bloat. After using a wooden spatula on one foot for a few minutes, we were both surprised to see a difference in the swelling in their ankles. All she did was move the paddle up and down her shin with light pressure. It should be noted that there were no instructions in the box, but there were plenty of demos on YouTube. According to YouTube, the video also helps with weight loss. The price corresponds to what we got. I personally really liked that both the reel and the paddle are made of wood. They seem very durable and don't have any sharp edges. It also came with a pouch for easy storage.
