Review on 🔧 Dorman 911-036 Vent Solenoid for Select Models with Vapor Canister by Richard Surveh

This fits great without the need for the extra wiring harness that Delco brand AD's or other aftermarket products require. I was getting P0442 trouble codes that popped up immediately when the code was reset, indicating a small emissions leak. I started troubleshooting this issue and after replacing the gas cap with no change, I tried replacing the vent solenoid. I have made many machine tool leak detectors and I know that leaks are everywhere. It just made sense to try after the gas cap. It worked like a charm and the error didn't come back.
