Good product but the metal chain is not used properly, the material around the waistband is easily adjustable. It's the exact same plastic as the rest of the pants that keeps the chain from sliding freely. Also, the material is not strong enough to withstand vigorous movement. If you sleep with the chain on the outside of your pants, it will rip apart the plastic covering them, completely defeating the chain's purpose. I would suggest that machine washing would be the most dangerous method as the chain would most likely detach from the pants. Be careful when buying this pen!
