With the many recycled trash bags available on Ebay, I'd hoped these would be a keeper - big enough for my 14 x 12 x 7 trash can and durable. Unfortunately, I'm having two major problems. First, the bottom is gathered into a point so they don't sit flat on the bottom of the can. This causes me to lose about 2" all around as soon as I throw something away (and what would've been the corners of the bag are pulled into the can). Second, while the material itself is strongish, the construction is not. I'd say every third bag or so rips down the seam unless I'm extremely delicate about putting it in the can. And who wants a delicate garbage bag? Disappointing. I really want to use recycled bags, but good ones are hard to find.
