The price got me thinking, but this is a solid, very easy to assemble stand that stays solid and doesn't wobble or dangle. Small, flat rubber grips on the bottom panel keep it where you need it without slipping. SUPERIOR QUALITY AND CONSISTENCY - Closer to professional gear than many other coasters we've tried to date. Easy and intuitive assembly in a minute or two with clear instructions. Six screws (I was given 8, for which I'm very grateful) two for the top plate and four for the bottom, and you're done. Superb, beautifully painted quality metal plates on the top and bottom, and there is a great thin non-slip rubber mat on the bottom of the stand. The screws securing the top and bottom are well countersunk and of above average quality themselves. I use it to lift two fairly heavy military shortwave receivers, both with thick coax cables running from the back and a small digital mixer/recorder on top of the receivers. This stand can be rotated and adjusted with different knobs and use the keyboards on both receivers throughout the day. This stand will not wobble or wobble, never slide off your desk or move. What's nice is that I don't have to worry or otherwise install anything to stabilize the stand, which isn't always the case. I do not leave reviews on things that have been given to me, discounted etc. No relationship with the seller or manufacturer, just my honest experience and rating.
