Easy to use but may be defective New

Have been using them for years. They last for two people at home for a maximum of 2.5-3 months, but this pair of filters does not attach to the faucet adapter. Turn the water on full blast and the filter flies off and water pours everywhere. They seem cheaper and not functional. I wrapped it in a big rubber band to keep it from unraveling, but you still have to remember not to turn the water up too high, which sucks.
