Review on Kanto PS350W Motion 37 Inch 60 Inch by Tammy Marie

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A quality product that does exactly what it's supposed to do

I chose the PS350 Full Pivot mount because it was the only single lever mount I could find to accommodate the Center the TV when it is fully retracted. All other manufacturers' brackets were advertised as offset - not what I wanted for a TV that was supposed to be in the middle of the wall! The Kanto mount is well made from heavy gauge steel. The instruction is short but clear and I didn't find it difficult to follow. There is also a helpful video on the manufacturer's website. My TV (smaller LG) has a VESA 300 x 300 mount and comes with the right diameter and length screws to attach the mount. The only difficulty was the lower horizontal arm of the mounting frame, which covered the power inlet on one side and the outlets on the other. The frame is quality steel and they were way out on the vertical parts of the frame so I just cut off the excess length with a hacksaw. Attaching the swing arm to the wall was easy (after finding the bolt) and attaching the TV/frame assembly to the swing arm was just as easy. It's a two-person job, though: one does the lifting and supporting, while the other guides the frame onto the bracket and tightens the nuts on the bottom two bolts. The level control is easy. Overall installation was easy. The only thing that confuses me is that the screws that come with it are metric. (13mm and 10mm). I didn't have outlets this size in my old US outlet set, but they were readily available at your local hardware store chain. [A worthy purchase and I recommend using a ratchet screwdriver when installing the swing arm pinch screws into the studs.] The price online was a bit higher than some other mounts, but overall it's a quality product that does exactly what I wanted .
