Dark chocolate very dark
I am a fair skinned redhead looking for brown mascara as any black makes me look like a Sicilian widow. Unfortunately, this Clinique "Dark Chocolate" is VERY dark and quite close to black, too dark for me. The application brush is also very thin, which makes it difficult for the eyelashes to fluff up. However, the quality of the mascara is good, it lasts well, basically does not smear and can be removed with soap and water or make-up remover wipes.
