I am a student pilot trying to get a private pilot license and up to this point I have been using David Clark H10 helicopters provided by my flight school. I took a chance on getting them because I plan to buy a good pair of Bose A20s if I do a test at the end of the course and don't want to pay too much for the headphones which I will most likely keep. for passengers who will fly with me in the future. I can't say enough good things about these headphones. Quality - Very solid construction. Solid feeling. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Comfort is the David Clark H10 and doesn't come close. The ear pads on it are softer than my sleeping pillow and fit completely over the ear. The microphone pad is very comfortable when my lips touch. The headband sits very comfortably on the crown. Noise cancellation - along with sound quality (which I'll talk about) - are the main things I noticed when I first tried them. When they're on, everything outside of the headphones becomes dead quiet. Dot.Audio/Voice - Sure! When using the David Clark H10 I had many problems with my instructor and tower/floor hearing. I hear EVERYTHING EXCELLENT from them. Overall - absolutely nothing to complain about. They are easy to remove (earpads included), excellent sound/voice quality. An absolute pleasure to own, and at this point I see no other point in buying a Bose A20 than trying to keep up with Jones and show off to other pilots.
