This Wii U controller is exactly the same as the US version except it's white! (I don't know why the companies have chosen not to sell certain colors in the US.) This controller is fully compatible with the Wii U for the US or Region 1. The front plastic of the controller is a very glossy plastic that is prone to fingerprints. The back is matte with a very light texture. Aesthetics aside, this is a very handy controller for any Virtual Console game or Wii U game that uses the traditional way of controlling. The vibrations are subtle and feel good in your hands during extended play. Let's talk extended play - these controllers hold a charge for a long, long time. Great for when you forgot to charge it after a long session of kicking butts of Japanese Mario Kart 8 players.
