I've been spending too much time reading reviews because of the size (diameter) issues. I use white buckets that I bought from Lowes (I have four and two fit well and two have 1/8 inch play) and there are differences in the buckets (below). The white buckets let me see how much dirt is in there. I use the two-bucket rinse method (one bucket of soap and one bucket for rinsing the dirty glove and the soap-washed glove, rinsing first in the washing machine, then in the soap gun, then in the bucket). They work well and I don't expect any grit manufacturer to change their product due to manufacturing tolerances in the buckets. However, they work and work well. How long do they last and how thick are they compared to others sold here? than for $7 each (for two) you may really reconsider it.
