Works with most analog resolutions

This little guy is awesome but a little fiddly so prepare to tweak the settings if you plan to use VGA and even late 80's SVGA to convert. I mainly use this to capture the DOS era and even some games from the late 90's. It currently offers resolutions of 320x240, 400p, 480p, 520p, 800x600 and 1024x768. Due to the wide standards, they are sometimes difficult to convert to a digital format, especially 320x200. The OSSC delivered every time, and even if it didn't sync right away, I was able to sync to the sample rate setting with little effort. I highly recommend checking out the online setup guides, they will be very helpful. Picture quality is generally very good, good enough that compressed video streaming makes it almost impossible to see the slightly softer image that can sometimes be given in comparison. him to a monitor of that time. There is no latency/latency, meaning you can almost play an old game with it without using a splitter connecting the vintage hardware to the monitor. The sound sounds very good too, seems to have a quality DAC so you get a very good digital reproduction of those old analogue outputs from early PCs. The price of this unit is a bit higher than most OSSCs, but Kaico also has a higher build quality, which you can expect when you can't count on OSSC quality at nearly half the price.
