This is my second Bonfoto tripod and as with the first I am very happy with my choice. There are a few subtle differences with this updated model, but many of the features I liked over the old model are still there. I really like the leg closure system. It's versatile and allows me to easily line up the camera in any landscape I'm shooting in. It's solid, when the legs are locked they are locked. The head of this model is different from the one I bought the last time I bought it. With this model, it's easy for me to adjust the settings to fix the camera in position for the picture I want to take. I also found that the camera pans very easily, allowing me to pan through the landscape for more photos when I put it on a tripod. The center piece is easy to work with, allowing me to raise it to eye level or higher with a few twists. The tripod is pretty light and I wouldn't worry about tossing it on my backpack all day. Oh I also love the stock option with this tripod. Nice to be there every now and then. It's been two weeks now and I'm very happy with my purchase and I plan to spend many years and many trips with this tripod.
