Interestingly, this cuticle trimmer is the least popular in our family. However, it is made by the same company as our favorite instrument. The difference lies in the location of the spring arms in the handles. I found it defective. One side is 1/8 inch high and the other side will cause the inside of the handle to be scratched during use. Thus, it makes a scratching sound and is more durable to use. If it wasn't for that, it would be a good clipper. Our favorite, this trimmer's handles are a little shorter at 1/2 inch than some others I've tried. Tip to tip 3 3/4" Of course the pusher is good for cuticles and the other end is a trimmer. It's sharper than you might expect = cleans the top of the nail well.
