Worked on my projects. Only 1/2 HP. Fairly easy to stall under a decent load. I use it for metal work. I had to create a stronger stand to lean large pieces of metal against with a belt. One that didn't flex, unlike the 3/32 or so it came with. The disc sanding plate continued to loosen and wobble under light stress. I had to use heavy duty Loctite to keep the screw from flying out. I've been using it pretty rigorously for a year. The hardware that stabilizes the belt sander is now loose, causing the entire portion of the belt sander, not the belt, to move left and right about 1/8 inch when sanding. It's essentially the same product as WEN, ROCKWELL, Eastwood, and possibly a few more. All copies.
