I have a Dyson V8 Animal+ which was a bit pricey to begin with. I didn't want to spend too much on a stand. This stand was easy to assemble and for the price I think you can't beat it. Tips: 1) The base wasn't too thin but not as strong as I would like. (I'm picky) Luckily I had two very long bolts and two extra nuts in my backpack. The instructions tell you to use 4 short screws for the base. After assembling the stand I added two extra nuts at the base to the two short screws. Making it a little firmer and less wobbly seems to help. (I also keep two extra long screws in case I later want to replace the short screws in the base) 2) I personally hate seeing loose wires. I was able to organize the cord by "tying it in a loop" and then placing it in a small "pocket" behind the stand so the loose cord didn't stick out/dangle. First, I measured the distance from the stand and cord to the outlet. Hope that helps! Reminder: when assembling the last part, make sure you connect the Dyson charging cable first. I forgot that and had to unscrew the power cord and then screw the Dyson wall plate back on.
