Needed to support bass when working at low and low volume in a room of about 20 m2. The best sound, in my opinion, was obtained when connected with an acoustic wire from the amplifier. A very useful auto-on/off feature from a 12v trigger. With the help of such triggers, I combined all the devices of the system into a set, which I control from one remote control from Onkyo R-N855. Very pleased with the result and sound! Since the sub is not massive enough, there was a problem with ensuring its immobility and dispersion of vibrations, which, in turn, is necessary for more accurate sound reproduction. As a result, having carefully studied the opinions of many sound lovers, I came to the conclusion that a way out can be found by transmitting vibrations to a massive stand through metal spikes. As a result, he screwed in metal spikes, which he installed on a granite base 80 mm thick and weighing 21 kg. The bass has radically changed for the better, becoming more resilient, detailed, collected! After listening to the operation of the system with one sub-ohm for several months, I decided that in order to complete the transfer of the musical picture, a second such sub was needed. After the inclusion of two subs in the system, the bass sound has changed, and the overall sound of the system has become truly voluminous! I must say that the ASW608 seems to have no competition among 8" active subwoofers for listening to music in terms of sound, size and connectivity, configuration and control.
