Review on πŸ”Œ Efficient 10 Ft Outdoor Extension Cord: Power Block with 16/3 Durable Green Cable for Christmas Lights by Charles Barney

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Satisfied so far. Quality in workmanship and design

I bought this outdoor power strip with three sockets to use for Christmas lights. It replaced an old outdoor electrical rack with three outlets. The spike/stake itself began to fail. I wanted to use a multi-outlet extension cord that didn't need to be on a rack. Iron Forge's three-prong "fan" design allows the outlets to be flush with the floor and easier to conceal/conceal due to the lower "profile". Extension cable. I can say that the assembly/construction of these power strips is of high quality. They "feel" solid. I can't say anything about the durability and reliability as the power cords have hardly been used. The time will show. My only concern is how they will hold up/behave when covered in snow. Not all pins I use have a third ground pin, so it's open on the Iron Forge output. Not sure if water/snow intrusion will cause any problems. For now I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others looking for a different outdoor power strip option that offers a lower "profile" design.

Pros
  • Excellent workmanship
Cons
  • Not bad
