
Emergency lighting for commercial buildings. Many commercial buildings use 3/8 armored cable, which requires a 1" hole in the back for assembly (see photo). The hole in this device is about 1/2 inch. There is usually a "knockout" to going to a larger size. There is no knockout hole, so you now need to find a 1" drill bit and drill through a plastic bracket to insert approved 120 volt wiring connectors. If you have an armored cable, find another light source.
