Error or misrepresentation

The item I receive has NOT been activated remotely. Either the seller made a mistake, sent me the wrong reporting, or the ad was misleading. When I needed the second unit and tried to install it, I found an error - two weeks past the return deadline. If you order this product, please check remote access upon arrival.

  • Very good value

excellent cheap emergency lighting

I use this for a not so traditional reason, I installed a plug and plugged it into a GFI socket in the garage, GFI controls all external sockets outside the home and there are times in Florida in a heavy rain and storm and the GFI pops so no, if I walk into the garage with the lights on I know I need to reset the GFI - works great

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Great value for money

Great price for what you get. Light installed and tested without any problems. The luminous flux is much better than a standard light bulb, with less power. The only problem I had with installing it was aligning the main body with the back panel. You have to stretch three pins to fit and it took me a little longer to do this without getting in the way of the wiring.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Concise instructions

There is no knockout hole in the mounting plate.

Emergency lighting for commercial buildings. Many commercial buildings use 3/8 armored cable, which requires a 1" hole in the back for assembly (see photo). The hole in this device is about 1/2 inch. There is usually a "knockout" to going to a larger size. There is no knockout hole, so you now need to find a 1" drill bit and drill through a plastic bracket to insert approved 120 volt wiring connectors. If you have an armored cable, find another light source.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Diffuser

Excellent investment in security

Although this unit is designed for commercial use, it works well in residential areas. You need some electrical knowledge to install it. It plugs into power and charges the battery when the device is on and then lights up when the device is off. To use it we didn't have a designated space for it, so I plugged in the power cord. It can be connected to both 110V and 220V, so you need to understand how it works to set it up safely. The light stays on for hours when the power goes out. This device…

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

According to the description it has been removed but it is not.

The description says that remote access is enabled but it is not stated anywhere on the packaging. When this remote control is activated, it has no remote control lamp pigtail. please correct the description. After checking what I ordered, I find reviews that say the same thing. Thank you for wasting my time and money. I didn't want to give a bad review but now that I've seen other reviews saying the same thing I should be compensated for a device with no remote capabilities. Paid $22.54 for…
