I couldn't get it to work with my Lenovo Ideapad S340. I get the message "Plugged in but not charging" on my laptop. I was hoping this would work as the OEM power strip is of crappy construction, its top is heavy and falls out of the wall when plugged in, also it only has 2 pins so I don't think it's grounded so it sparkles , when I connect it . The new plug fits and the form factor is superior to the OEM, it has a 3 pin grounded plug so there are no sparks when I plug it in. The only problem is that while it claims to meet the current requirements (20V @ 2.25A) of the OEM plug, it doesn't charge the laptop battery.
