Review on 🔍 Hunter Dempsey Indoor Ceiling Fan, 44-inch, White, with LED Light and Remote Control by Jacqueline Mclaurin

Believe the negative reviews. The lights flickered constantly until I bought and installed two new LEDs and then just flickered sporadically out of the blue. Five months in it died all of a sudden. No amount of mating, checking tension, tightening wire nuts, etc. brought it to life. Hunter is no longer my favorite brand. They are clearly using inferior Chinese electronics (or even cheaper than any country). I'm trying my luck with the warranty now, but my time and effort is wasted. If you just bought a 59246 Dempsey fan I would return it immediately before proceeding with the installation. Don't be fooled by the useless remote control function, it's a trap! UPDATE: Hunter is sending me a new receiver and remote control. Perhaps this model was an exception to their excellent reputation. I will update in the future. UPDATE: I installed a new receiver which Hunter sent within 3 days. The new receiver is blue instead of green as originally. This is similar to the Hunter brand receiver replacement kit that you buy at Lowes or Home Depot. The remote has a nice thin design compared to the thick weird remote that originally came with the fan. The replacement took about 10 minutes, now the fan works perfectly.
